How do you start and stop Kerio VPN Client programmatically? Or on via the command line?

/tryauto
* VPN Client is executed (in simple or advanced mode)
* connection establishment is started – in particular mode – for all persistent connections with Auto connect option set
* if no connection is marked as Auto connect, VPN client is immediately terminated

/help
* VPN Client displays help message box containing all command line parameters but /tryauto
* always returns 0

/version
* VPN Client displays message box with its version and exits
* always returns 0

status [<server> <username>]
* another instance of VPN Client must be already running
* <server> <username> is applicable only if the client is in advanced mode – specifies connection for which the status will be displayed

connect [<server> <username>] [/nowait]
* another instance of VPN server must be already running, if not, it is executed
* <server> <username> is applicable only if the client is in advanced mode
* connection must be stored with saved password
* if the connection is either in disconnected or in waiting state it is forced to connect
* if /nowait parameter is specified, VPN Client does not wait for the connection to be established
* return codes and their meaning:

0: connection has been established or is (already) in connected state
1: connection is already in connecting/autoconnecting state
2: connection moved to connecting state then to waiting state
3: connection moved to connecting state then to disconnected state
4: connection <server> <username> does not exist (advanced mode only)
5: VPN Client application is not running or failed to execute
6: connection password is not saved
7: <server> <username> is not specified (advanced mode only)
8: <server> <username> is specified (simple mode only)
9: connection establishment process started (/nowait)
19: Internal error

disconnect [<server> <username>]
* another instance of VPN server must be already running
* <server> <username> is applicable only if the client is in advanced mode
* return codes and their meaning:

0: connection has been disconnected or is (already in disconnected state)
4: connection <server> <username> does not exist (advanced mode only)
5: VPN Client application is not running
7: <server> <username> is not specified (advanced mode only)

The application return code can be processed in batch file using if shell command with errorlevel variable (see “Help and Support” in MS Windows).

I can't make it work - which executable are these options for?

I have GUI version 7.4.1.5051, same goes for the service and 7.4.0.4517 is the driver.

When I start the GUI with options, I just can show the version, help and tray icon, but the option /tryauto is not available.

There are 3 executables in the folder, the gui, admin and service - service is obvious, the gui as well and the admin just starts, runs in background, but no obvious way how to work with it...

I'd like to setup the client to connect automatically with a needed connection to my client's server - I'm using Remote Desktop Manager, which allows to run a command line script before opening the remote desktop connection.

Please advice.
Thank you.

Peter.

Hello,

I have the same problem as Peter. I am trying to connect and disconnect a Kerio VPN using the command-line, but the options aren't all there. I only have the /help, /version and /tray switches.

Is there a way to do what I'm asking for?

Regards
