My Kerio journaling (email archive) is set to send a copy of every email to a postfix server running on a separate box. On my postfix though I get all of the emails as sent "To: undisclosed recipients". I want to see the original To: and From: headers intact. All of the other headers are fine.
Digging through postfix documentation it notes that the postfix post processor command trivial-rewrite changes the To: header to undisclosed recipients if and only if it finds an invalid To: header. I tried different versions of postfix on both Debian and Redhat and the problem persists on all of them. If I, however, set up Kerio to journal to another Kerio, all of the emails contain proper From: and To: headers.
It seems obvious that the problem might be with the postfix configuration but I tried everything I could think of and I can't figure out why postfix thinks the To: fields are wrong. I have two questions for the Kerio crowd:
1. Has anyone encountered this before and has a solution?
2. Does Kerio journaling in any way modify the headers in a way another mail server would complain?
I've used journaling from a number of different servers to postfix and had no problems, the problems only occur with Kerio. Any insight would be appreciated.
