I am seeing 'Queue injection cancelled' a lot in my logs. The messages still seem to send okay, but it's only a recent thing.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

thanks,

I see this a lot also, but it seems the message gets re-queued immediately. Would be nice to have an explanation of what is going on.

Found it: if you'd turn on SMTP Server debug messages, you'll see that when SPAM is being blocked by RBL, the qproc process is canceling the incoming mail. Hence, the Queue Injection Cancelled message.

For example:

[07/Dec/2006 11:49:55][12571] {qproc} Queue injection started, id=4577f1d3-000003a5
[07/Dec/2006 11:49:55][12571] {smtps} Sent reply to MAIL: 250 2.1.0 Sender <bang'sopened<.a.t.>abulsme.com> ok
[07/Dec/2006 11:49:55][12571] {smtps} Command RCPT TO:<jinn<.a.t.>domain.com>
[07/Dec/2006 11:49:55][12571] {smtps} Sent reply to RCPT: 550 5.7.0 Your IP address is in the SpamHaus SBL-XBL database
[07/Dec/2006 11:49:55][12571] {qproc} Queue injection cancelled, id=4577f1d3-000003a5

Problem solved, we can go on wih our lives :-)

This is not the case here.

It is happening when a user sends mail to both an internal and external recipient. The message starts to get queued, then cancelled, then requeued with the next id in sequence, and delivered fine.
