Hi, we have 2 users who report their Entourage being painfully slow
whilst updating its folders from Kerio. The performance is so poor
that it hesitates whilst they are writing emails mid-sentence. They are using Entourage 2004. We have tried recreating the account, rebuilding the database, searching for illegal characters in folder names but none of this has made any difference and Kerio have not helped because the account functions okay in webmail so have dismissed it as an 'Entourage problem' which is not satisfactory to our customer. Any ideas? Thanks

Exchange mode or IMAP?

If Entourage is freezing up whilst typing, this would suggest a problem with the client machine and not KMS.
I have only ever seen something similar when NAV has been installed on the client machine.

I have 2 Macs, one on Tiger the other on Panther both with different version of Norton Anti-Virus and turning off Auto-Protect on both eliminated the spinning beachball problems.
