I have just upgraded to KMS 6.3 and want to try the new feature of Active Sync to keep the contact and calendar in sync via GPRS but I have NO idea where to start?

I cannot see any new features or configuration within the Kerio Administrator and the manual does not give much details on adding a PPC to the KMS. I check my user name and it does not have any registered mobile devices but offers no way of registering one.

The devices is an O2 XDA IIs

Am I missing something?

You probably missed this topic: http://forums.kerio.com/index.php?t=msg&goto=40304

Well, this is the best thing on our solution. You don't need to add or regiter device (unlike other similar solutions). The device is registered automatically, when you connect to ActiveSync in KMS for the first time. It is so simple that all you need is set up Active Sync connection on your PDA (smartphone). Please read the manual for details.

You only have to configure this on your mobile device. Just lookup the appropriate manual page, it's all explained in sufficient detail there.

Here you go: http://www.kerio.com/manual/kms/en/ch33s01.html

Thanks for the help, working well now.

A couple of questions, I cannot get it to work with https (port 443). I have the secure http service runnung on my KMS and my firewall is open for 443. It works fine on http (port 80)

Another thing I cannot figure out is how to sync ALL mail folders rather than just my INBOX. My existing mail account has lots of existing folders and rules to put mail into them but I can only see the contents of my inbox and the skeleton structure of the other folders.

Thanks

Go to your Outlook inbox on your mobile device, Menu, Tools, Manage Folders. There you can select which folders to sync.

I'm not sure if DirectPush works with all folders (maybe it does, I never really tested it), but you can certainly sync them manually 'over the air' (by pressing 'Sync' in ActiveSync on your device).
