hi to everybody!

Well, I've bought kerio winroute firewall last week, and I like it. But I've 2 problems.

1) My POP3 e-mail (I've used Outlook Express all my life to open it), now it won't work! It stays a long time trying to check for e-mails and it finish with an error.
In the middle, Kerio will show a message "Connection limit for host reached" every time I try to check e-mail. The limit is on 600 connections.

2) My P2P programs download rate (eMule, BitTornado, uTorrent) is very slow (if they work) with the firewall enabled. If I disable the firewall, they start to work with a very higher download rate.

If I solve this 2 problemas I would say I am very satisfied with this product.

What does your Traffic Policy rules look like? What do you use for authentication to the firewall? Etc. Please provide more info, or nobody can help you.

for POP3 prob,
Go to Definition, Services, then set the POP3 inspector protocol to NONE. That will solve you prob.

For P2P, make sure you MAP ports to your computer (incoming). and allow your computer to have P2P network. Also raise your upload sharing for you to have high download.

The rules for your p2p clients should look like those in my picture. If you use one computer for Winroute and another for the p2p programs you'll have to map these connections.
