Hi everyone,

I have an OS X server (10.4.8) running KMS 6.3.0. I'd like to configure it to authenticate users in the LDAP database. I've followed Kerio's instruction on how to do this at: . Unfortunately, I keep getting the following error when trying to Configure the Kerio Mail Server to Get its Users from the OpenDirectory Master: "Cannot bind to LDAP server (invalid credentials). Check the username and password." I've triple-checked the doamian admins username and password and they are right.
I've noticed that port 389 (default LDAP) is being used by another process, so the default port has been changed to 3289. When specifying this port or not, I get the same error message. I've tried changing port 3289 to 389 but this disables the LDAP service and it won't restart until I change the port number.
Any thoughts would be extremely helpful.

What username are you using? You should try using diradmin.
