I was wondering what happens to information entered in custom fields in Entourage on KMS. I have 8 custom fields in entourage that i can use. e.g. project number that a particular contact belongs to. from Mac to Mac (i.e. Entourage to Entourage) i can search that info. So KMS must store it somwhere. However when I open the respective VCard in a Text editor I don't see that information anywhere.

For now I cannot search that info using KOC on Outlook. If I knew the name of the field I could maybe set up a custom field in Outlook. Anyone who has similar problems? Or better yet, a solution?

Same thing applies to categories. These are local only it seems. Besides using the Web interface which is hardly useful if you want to edit multiple contacts, is there a way to have categories shared across machines?

Many Thanks

Any news on this? We have global contacts for all users. We have added categories for many of the clients but now everyone can see them even the user with rights to alter, add, erase contacts. We really need to data to be avaialble to all users. We are using Kerio with KOC offline.
