I am having difficulties getting Internet Explorer v6 to remember the username/password for webmail.

I have checked username/passwords in the "Tools / Internet Options / Content / Autocomplete: Settings" menu.

Each time I load the webmail homepage, the username/password box is blank and I have to enter my username.

Once I have entered my username, the password is automatically displayed - so IE is remembering the password correctly, but IE is not automatically displaying the username.

Any ideas why this would be?

Firefox automatically populates the username and password boxes when webmail loads.

Thanks for your help!

I am using IE v6 (and IE v7) on Windows XP Pro.

If you click in the empty user name field or start typing your user name, does IE7 show you a drop down list with your user name in it?
