Hi,

one question about SPF:

If sender policy framework is so important to detect who is sending unwanted email from no valid source mailservers, why has not been deployed like a DNS server standar?

To few companies are working with spf activated on their dns server....

why?

best regards

You'd have to ask all mail admins in the world that question... if they'd all setup SPF records and told their mail servers to check them, it would be great.

It's basically up to the users. Setting up SPF in a domain controller is as easy as any entry made there. But unless the users request it, ISP's are going to be lazy about it. Make sure to demand it be used in any and all connectivity you have both business and personal. I had to teach my ISP how to do it, now they do it for all their customers. They would never had thought to use it if I hadn't spoken up.
