Hello support,
Our server is acting up since a few days back, but we just noticed yesterday.
We are unable to send messages, we don't get any errors, the server accepts and supposedly deliver the message, but it never reaches the recipient.

Example of message sent log:

[23/Jan/2007 08:39:18] Recv: Queue-ID: 45b61e16-00000009, Service: HTTP, From: <local_user<.a.t.>domain_name.net>, To: <recipient<.a.t.>external_domain.com>, Size: 3501, Sender-Host: 123.123.123.123, User: local_user<.a.t.>domain_name.net
[23/Jan/2007 08:39:25] Sent: Queue-ID: 45b61e16-00000009, Recipient: <recipient<.a.t.>external_domain.com>, Result: relayed, Status: 2.0.0

I tried to send a message to these accounts, but the message never reaches the other account.
No errors are shown.
There are no problems receiving or delivering messages lo local domain.

Please advise how to fix this problem.

Regards,

Renato

We have the same problem, however, it seems that the other side has Anti-spam filter hick-ups. Mail is accepted and thus sent. Please check with your recipient side.

This is not the case, as this is a general issue, messages we send to ANY recipient outside KMS box are not delivered.

No messages are left on the queue so they went out of the mail server but for some reason I'm still unable to find messages never get to the other end.
Where did those message go?

A result of Relayed with a Status code of 2.0.0 indicates that the remote mail server accepted the message. This indicates that Kerio MailServer successfully delivered the message, and the remote mail server accepted the message. What happens after the remote mail server accepts the message is out of the control of Kerio MailServer.

If recipients are not receiving your messages, you'll need to contact the admins for those servers to determine why they accepted your messages but are not delivering them to their users.

That makes it even more weired, since it's not a couple of domains, I have tested with several different domains and they all are not delivering our messages.
I have tested with well known domains like:

yahoo.com
msn.com
hotmail.com
linuxmail.org
netscape.com
aol.com
mac.com
etc, etc, etc...

Also tested with some of our own domains hosted on other remote servers and using KMS in some cases and other MTAs in other cases, on different physical locations.

I have also checked at http://www.robtex.com/rbls.html and the server IP is NOT listed on any black list / block list

What else do you suggest to do?

I have just tested sending a bunch of messages to NON EXISTENT ACCOUNTS using our domains, which we know for sure those accounts don't exist and also to the above listed domains, using very estrange long address, expecting to get an error message back, stating that those accounts don't exist, but instead we got the same Status code of 2.0.0 on the server log and no error messages back from the recipient servers.

None, not even a single one!!!!

I think this is something else.

Thanks for any other advise.

Got it, following directions provided by Kerio support rep.
I activated the SMTP Client session and I found out the messages were redirected to the AVG client "smtp server" to be scanned prior to the sending. As this is not a real server application but a regular client anti-virus, the "smtp service" collapsed and was dropping all messages.

After I disable the AVG client smtp server service, I was able to send the messages again.

Thanks a lot for your help, and I hope it may help someone else later on.

Renato
