We're in the process of moving from CGP to Kerio 6.3 on Mac OS X 10.4.8 around 200 users.

This will be done over a length of time so we need to have both servers running.

Our current setup means that all incoming and outgoing mail goes through an external
spam/virus filtering company. This comapny has a directory sync between our Active Directory and them.
The plan was to map a value in the AD schema of the KMS AD plugin to a part of the
filtering companies schema which holds a value for a mailserver.
Looking in the schema editor I notice KMS has a value called 'homeserver', which appears to be empty.
Is it feasible to use this value?. Does anyone know what the 'homeserver' value is for?
If not could anyone suggest an entry we could use?

Thanks in advance,

Pavel Dobry (Kerio)

The 'homeserver' attribute has a special purpose and cannot be used for another purposes. I would recommend creating own attribute in AD schema or use existing attributes with read-only access (like 'kerio-accountenabled').

kerio-Mail-AccountEnabled: 1
kerio-Mail-Address: IxsN
kerio-Mail-WebReplyToAddress: nixs<.a.t.>

We are in the same process. We have a mixed environment as we are migrating from one server to Kerio. We have to publish our e-mail info to a 3rd system which is a combination of these.

In our case, we default to the old server and then are looking for any account on the AD where the reply to address is = * to override the old one.

dsquery * -filter " (&(objectcategory=person)(kerio-Mail-WebReplyToAddress=* )
)" -attr *
