Many of the messages I am getting from the FirstClass Server software are coming across in this format

"This message cannot be displayed because of the way it is formatted. Ask the sender to send it again using a different format or email program.

multipart/alternative"



any ideas?


the raw source only has the users the email is being sent to, there is no body.

How do you exactly get the raw source? There must be more than just the headers. Can you go to KMS Webmail, click "View Source", and post the source of such a mail here?

The problem is that the syntax of these headers are wrong. There must be an empty line to signal the end of the headers and the beginning of the body.

And then a line in the body must begin with the boundary string, in your case:

--=_--04014424.040142d9.c1e469eb

So I think the sending mail server is not using the correct RFC standards, find below a correct header with multipart/alternative:
