Hi,

I have KWF on a computer with 3 LAN cards, two internal network and one link to a cisco router who is routes out to the public internet. my router works well, i've know this because when I plug into the router's lan it works like a charm. however, when I go to any of the LANs behind KWF I get certain timeouts. lot's of stuff works ok, but also lots of other sites, like yahoo or some pop3 mail server get timeouts. I used the wizzard to set the trafic rules and added some of my own like for eg. I forbid one of the lans to see the other.

I am quite sure my rules are ok.

I enabled protection against P2P software.

Any ideas what could be causing the timeouts?

I can give more info as needed.

Plz advice.

Create specific (dedicated) traffic rules for the traffic that does timeout. Enable packet logging and check the filterlog. Maybe you find something there that can help you.
