Hi to all,

I'm having a trouble because the vpn client can't connect with firewall in Windows Vista Ultimate installation. The error is the following: "Error in connection" and when I test the connection with Windows Software, this is the response:

"Windows confirm the host XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX (ip) in online actually, but isn't responding to connect retries at this moment."

In the same window there is a note: "there is a running firewall between your computer and your server. Windows confirm the own firewall is correctly configured. But it's possible other firewall blocking the connection. You'll try to access to firewall and open 1723 tcp port."

I open this port on my router, but the problem persist. Is it a incompatibility with Vista?

I wait for your answers.

Thanks.

I had the same issues with the lastest released version of KWF VPN client and Vista. But I checked on the beta site and found a RC 6.3.0. This version even though in RC status seems to work partially for my needs and maybe it will help you as well.

Good luck.

Use Beta (it works fine with me)... Production release (v1.2.2) isn't working in Vista environment. Or you could wait for Beta period to finish. I believe next release will support Vista.
