This may be a stupid question but I need a Kerio answer. (I have a Mac and everything... just works)

A client brought to my attention that not only could he not access his email without an internet connection, he could not even open Outlook (w/ KOC). Is this to be expected?

If so, is there a work around?

At a minimum his employees need to have access to tasks, contacts, and calendars when they are on the go. Do I need to switch them to KSP for the next couple of weeks or are they going to be moving to exchange?

Because they will not sacrifice productivity for a much more than that when there is a viable alternative available.

KOC does not locally cache data. Therefore, no connection back to the mail server, no email.

Possible work arounds are IMAP account which does cache, together with KSP to sync calendar etc. KSP will not handle shared calendars though.

Webmail will handle shared calendars, but again you need an internet connection to be able to employ that.

Kerio are working on offline cacheing........
