while i am able to share a user's contacts, i cannot share his calendar.

specifically, when i right-click the calendar in entourage and selected "sharing," it returns an error saying that it "cannot connect to Exchange to get permissions"

the calendar is the only folder that returns this error--every other folder allows sharing.

folder permissions have been set in webmail.

any clue?

Try setting it up in webmail and see if that works for you.

is there a workaround or is it a bug?

Okay these seems to be a minor bug. When you set up calendar sharing in Webmail, you can then proceed to the client's machine and set up delegation. There is no need to go to the delagator's client and initiate sharing. I don't know why it returns the error when you do attempt to do so, especially since it does not return an error for any other folder. But this does not seem to prevent calendar sharing.
