Dear Experts,

Due to our kerio mail server is a domain controller which have a problems with replications in Active directory. I am planning to demote server and promote again. Before to do this action, I would like to backup all details/setting in kerio mail program in case any problems in demote/promote active directory.

Please advise whether I just back up full directory in /program files/kerio and mailstores ??

any experience for that??

For your reference, all user is configured authentication using Windows NT domain. Any problems occur when demote/promote server??

Server OS: Windows 2003 Server Standard Edition
Kerio Mailserver 6.1.2

Please comments.
Thanks a lot

If you backup the entire Kerio Mail Server program Folder, you're sure that you have everything you need (and it's just an insignificantly bit larger than picking out the needed files.

One note: either use Kerio's own backup feature to backup the store or do it while KMS is offline... otherwise you'll possibly end up with a (partly) corrupted store.
