A year ago we installed an AD with userid like [firstname][first lettre name] like this : ritap (Rita Peeters)

Now we have to install a mailserver so we did the schema extension for Kerio and everything seems to work fine but...

The standard mailaddress for the userid is ritap<_a.t_>company.com I added an extra mailaddress for everyuser like Rita.Peeters<_a.t_>company.com. When I publish the mailaddresses to the public contactlist I see that every user has 2 mailaddresses. Is it posible to supress the standard address ritap<_a.t_>company.com. I only want to use and show the second mailaddress...

I added the second mailaddress as a mailaddress. Is it better to use an alias ?

Anyone who has any advice ??

I found a workaround but it's not the best way I suppose....

In the folder D:\Kerio\mail\dekringwinkelzuiderkempen.be\#public\Contacts\ #msgs
I find all the *.eml files for the contacts. When I open the files in notepad I can edit them so.... I changed the mailaddress manually.

This seems to work but I think this is not the best way. If I have to change all the Eml files manually.... So what to do If you have for exemple 200 users... Now you want what I want to do... Maybe you guys have a better way.. THX !!!

You can edit the Public contacts folder manually using webmail, you shouldn't have to modify the .eml files. http://www.kerio.com/manual/kms/en/ch31s04.html
