Hi,

My company is thinking of purchasing Kerio MS but before we do, here's a question: is it possible to import the existing mails and mail accounts from ArgoSoft MS? If so, how can we do that?

Thank you,
Benjy

You'll probably want to direct this question through formal Kerio channels (mailto:support<_a.t_>kerio.com), if you don't get a response. This is a community forum.

Kerio MailServer 6.7.1 w/AD
Windows Server 2003 SP 1
Dell PowerEdge 2850 (Dual Xeon 3.2ghz and 2 GB RAM)
~1300 users
~1000+ concurrent IMAPS connections
iPhone users
Outlook 2007 KOFF users
Apple iCal 10.5/10.6 users

Bump.

Could I please get an answer, either here or from the support tool? It would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Kerio can import user accounts from a CSV file, so if ArgoSoft can export the data, it should be fairly easy. I don't know of any way to directly import the account data from one to the other. This is pretty much the rule regardless of e-mail systems. Kerio can also be set up to use local authentication using Windows AD or kerberos.

If you have the version of ArgoSoft that supports IMAP access, then use IMAPCOPY (http://home.arcor.de/armin.diehl/imapcopy/imapcopy.html) to copy e-mails on the ArgoSoft server to Kerio. If users are accessing the mail server via POP3, this is a moot point (there' no mail stored on the server)

Hope this helps
