I'm running a support issue at the moment but a solution is to slow.

We have for 4years a W2k machine which executes some batch scripts. Regular FTP commands.
After the upgrade to 6.3.0 the FTP transfers are recognized as port scans. No traffic is going in or out!! My customers are irritated and I can't solve this issue.

Also is Kerio reporting maximum connection limit is reached. No further traiffic is allowed. Also due to version 6.3.0.

Does anyone have a suggestion??

have the same FTP problem (KFW runs on W2K3 Server SP2).

After upgrading to 6.3.0 NO FTP connection can be established to outside servers.
1) <Debug> logs the following:
[29/Apr/2007 22:04:11] {ftp_handler} [ 10067 ] New request to ip.ip.ip.ip:21
[29/Apr/2007 22:04:11] {ftp_handler} [ 10067 ] connected
[29/Apr/2007 22:04:11] {ftp_handler} [ 10067 ] ftp_read_response(): recv() failed, code 10054
[29/Apr/2007 22:04:11] {ftp_handler} [ 10067 ] cleaned

2) <Connection> logs nothing

3) If I disable <Protocol Inspector> for FTP, <Connection> logs smth like this:
[29/Apr/2007 22:04:57] [ID] 2128 [Rule] ftp [Service] FTP [Connection] TCP proserver:2878 -> ip.ip.ip.ip:21 [Duration] 645 sec [Bytes] 1711/2154/3865 [Packets] 37/31/6

But the connection is not established and is reset with the "time out" error.

I've tried some workaround but could not figureout what exaclty is causing the problem. so I had to downgrade to 6.2.3 build 2027, which i running now.

P.S. Please not, that users from outside had no problem accessing the FTP server behind KFW.
