Anyone have any instructions on installing secure certificates on symbian devices (specifically E61). Trying to use SSL with activesync, but device complains about untrusted certificate. User guide only cover Win Mob.

If you are using self-signed certificate in KMS:
Open Web in Nokia and go to http(s)://<mailserver>/server.cer. Download file and click on Install.

If you are using signed certificate:
Obtain root CA certificate in DER format (.cer) and import to Nokia (just download the file or beam it via IR or Bluetooth).

I did this and when I try and open the file to save on the E61 I get an "unknown file format."

Root certificate from Equifax saved no problem.

Ok. I added all the root equifax certs available and still get the same error when using ssl and activesync. Certificate was issued by rapidssl

Ok. Fixed (for those interested).
Some root certs do not display on the E61, so I imported them into OS X keychain and then exported them. Sent via BT to the E61 and then imported that way.
