Is there a way to set webmail as the default email client so that other clicking on email addresses elsewhere will create new messages in webmail?

I don't know how to trap "mailto:" links in the browser, but for opening a new email window, you can use :

http://youserver/default/mailCompose.php?mailTo=email%40addr ess.lan&allowHtml=true&

I guess it will only work if a WebMail session exist.

I think it would be really helpful if Kerio did the work here and provided some instructions on how to achieve this for some different browsers...

Well, I was creating a new ticket to submit a feature request, and the support page showed this :

http://support.kerio.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=v iewarticle&kbarticleid=451

So it can be done for OS X.
