The iSync Connector still fails to synchronize the Task lists.
Why this half baked solution? Sad

Strange why this (seemingly) simple feature is not supported.

It's not half-baked, it flat out doesn't work. There is currently no way to sync tasks to Kerio Mail Server from a Mac.

Sucks, but that's what we've got to deal with until Leopard.

I ment the iSync connector is half baked. Not the task synchronisation.
The iSync connector has not much use if tasks are not synchronised.

What happens in leopard that would make this work?

Leopard supports Caldav which is like webdav for calendaring. Theoretically it should sync tasks, calendaring, meetings, etc. Here's a bit more info:

http://www.apple.com/macosx/leopard/ical.html

I would wait for WWDC in June and see what Steve Jobs has to say about Leopard.

It's important to note that CalDAV is a completely different protocol/implementation than iSync so it will probably take quite a while for Kerio to implement CalDAV functionality.

Myself, I'm very impressed with the iSync functionality. I'm currently syncing my KMS calendars with my Sony Ericsson W810i phone, due to the abstraction and flexibility of iSync.

Kerio MailServer 6.7.1 w/AD
Windows Server 2003 SP 1
Dell PowerEdge 2850 (Dual Xeon 3.2ghz and 2 GB RAM)
~1300 users
~1000+ concurrent IMAPS connections
iPhone users
Outlook 2007 KOFF users
Apple iCal 10.5/10.6 users

Just don't ever install another program that utilizes sync services or you WILL have major problems. I downloaded SOHO Notes and immediately got nearly 1000 sync conflicts on a system that had NO conflicts before this. 45 minutes later I had resolved everything. I had conflicts in items that had happened 3 years ago but Sync Services was bound & determined to make sure everything was kosher before continuing.

I use iSync connector to sync my addressbook and calendar to my HTC P3300, together with the pushmail i'm very happy with the functionality, did not have _any_ problems yet.

The only thing lacking is task synchronisation.
