we have a network conected to internet and to other networks through a SUN server with checkpoint firewall Ver 1.3 instaled. Since saturday we started to use an intel server (windows 2003 server) with kerio winroute firewall 6.2.1 due to kerio give us more information about the navigation than the checkpoint. everything was ok except for that there is an aplication (Xmanager) we use it to conect remotely to various unix servers using a graphic interface and opening terminals with unix servers, and at no especific amount of time the terminals opened with the unix servers close themselves or got lost or something like that. the fact is that is something ramdon but happens and any work outgoing got lost.
we have no restriction applied neither with the bandwith nor the iddle time, all services and ports are permited or opened to those unix server as well as the incoming traffic from then to our network and sitll conection got lost , but this doesnot happens with the checkpoint firewall .
please Help!!!!!
