I'm trying out the kerio firewall.on a small local network.
I enabled transparent proxy at first.
I beleive this allows to pass information through a LOCAL KERIO provided proxy transparent for http / https transfers.
this seems to work.

As I disable the transparent Proxy, the nat services (translating the IP address to internet address and only allow
initated access from inside
from LAN to Internat allow Nat enable Internet inteface.

This seems not to work. Am I forced to use the transparent proxy, I'm not sure how it behaves on other then port 80/443 communications. It is my impression other communications ports do not work even if NAT is enabled.

Can anyone make this clear for me ??
