Does anyone know how to incorporate Kerio Mailserver email into Microsoft CRM 3.0 activity?
Microsoft refuses to make these work, however they have a tie-in to the more complex Microsoft Exchange/Outlook pairing.
Outlook has a button to send and track in CRM, then a user can pick which account/lead to track the email to. Sounds simple enough to have a tie in to other groupware mailservers, right?

Microsoft CRM seems to me as an strange one.
It is a makeover/large addon of/to Outlook. Technically the integration with Exchange shouldn't be necessary. It could easily be implemented diferrently. Ahh vendor lock-in.

There is a document from Microsoft regarding CRM in a non-Exchange environment (btw Exchange is mentioned as a system requirement);

You say the "promote" button doesn't work? I ask this because it should work (at least the MSN Outlook Connector does) according to this document. KOC uses MAPI, right?
