I'm running KMS 6.2.2. While trying to install KOC on a Windows XP-SP2 laptop, KOC suddenly aborts right before the installation process starts. The message I receive is:

Wth wizard was interrupted before KOC could be completely installed. Your system has not been modified. To complete installation at another time, rerun setup.

When I look at the Event Log, it only states that KOC -- installation operation failed with an eventid of 11708.

I've never had a problem with other XP-SP2/Office 2003 systems before this. Any ideas?

I ran into that once with a 6.3.x version. It's an issue with the MSI installer. Support was aware of the problem at the time, but hadn't yet found the problem causing it. The work-around was to install the last KOC version with a non-MSI based installer (I believe it was the last 6.1.x version). You can get that from the archive page. Then, install your current version of KOC as an upgrade to that.
