Hi

we are running a Kerio Mail Server under Mac OS 10.4. Today we wanted to switch our mailserver to a new one. So i configured the KMS to fetch the messages from the new an the old mailserver too. Now the old mailserver was taken out of DNS, so it couldn't be reached by oldserver.domain.com

To prevent that eMails are send to the old server and never get to the user, i want to made a entrie in the hosts file.

So I went to "/etc/hosts" and made an entrie with the old server adress an the old IP-adress. In the Terminal i could ping the old server with "ping oldserver.domain.com", but unfortunatelly the KMS still send the error "mail_pop3c.cpp: POP3 server hostname oldserver.domain.com not found"

Any ideas why the KMS didn't works fine?
