I get errors saying "invalid password" for users with definitely correct passwords. I can even use that very user (domain admin) for setting up and testing the Open Directory connection within KMS - username and password work fine here, but not for login in webmail.

Mac OS X Server 10.4.10
Open Directory/Kerberos
KMS 6.4.1

Anybody any clue?

Thanks for your hints,
Hakan Kaya

I just started testing KMS at my office last hit and I hit a similar problem.

It turns out that Kerio put in a default Kerberos realm that didn't match our realm. Once I edited the realm entry everything has been working perfectly.

Administration console
Domains (edit the domain)
Advanced tab.

That perfectly solved it.

Thanks a lot!
