Hello. We have been using KMS with KOC in outlook with about 70 users for a couple of months now. KOC seems to be very slow but IMAP seems to be a lot better for us but we don't want to loose functionality of groupware. I really wouldn't want to go with exchange just because of the simplicity (and Investment made) with KMS.

Is their a way to use KOC for groupware but IMAP for e-mail?

Thanks in advance.

Yes - add an IMAP account in the same outlook profile as the KOC account. I don't think this a supported Kerio configuration, but it works.

The speed issue is due partly to a lack of offline cacheing with KOC, whereas IMAP creates a local cache.

Faster disks in the mail server help - I always recommend a RAID 10 array with either SCSI or Western Digital Raptop SATA disks.

Having said that, Off line caching is (according to a Kerio email I received) on its way by Sept / Oct time, and this should hopefully solve your woes.
