i have a domain reserved in a ISP "demo<_a.t_>demo.com.np" with catch all mails option mails. so whenever, whoever sends mail to *<_a.t_>demo.com.np it will come to my kerio mail server.

I installed kerio, with following option:

1. opened a domain name with "demo.com.np"
2. disabled antivirus
3. created various *<_a.t_>demo.com.np users (e.g test<_a.t_>demo.com.np/rest<_a.t_>demo.com.np)
4. pop3 download from"demo.com.np with username and password"
delivered to admin<_a.t_>demo.com.np

Whenever my frens sents a mail (to rest<_a.t_>demo.com.np) it seems to be received by admin<_a.t_>demo.com.np but as i hope it should reach to rest<_a.t_>demo.com.np, why it is not reaching to individual accounts (eg: rest<_a.t_>demo.com.np is empty)

What other/additional settings i have to manage so that each mails should go to their respecitive inbox, here every mails are stored under demo<_a.t_>demo.com.np and transfered to admin<_a.t_>demo.com.np.

how can i manage those mails which are wrote by outsiders to reach their respective email box created under kerio mail server

my build 6.4.0
Note: sending emails to external account is working like a charm. poping is also working great, but that main problem is it won't transport mails to their individual user accounts...

Your problem is point 4:

You instruct the POP3 download to deliver everything to your admin mail account. In the POP3 download window you should check the second option:

"Use sorting rules" >> Preferred header : "Received"

This works for me.

why the mail box appeared in this format :
demo<_a.t_>demo.com.np<_a.t_>pop.fewanet.com.np

coz pop.fewanet.com.np is my pop server whereas demo<_a.t_>demo.com.np is my user in ISP
and others<_a.t_>demo.com.np are in kerio

i don't have any sorting rules defined, is it necessary ?
Could u please provide me what actually u r doing in ur case,, it would be great if u could provide some basic settings for my case..

thanks for ur support.

well somehow i managed to deliver each mail to their respective individual inbox, with sorting rules,

if mail is sent to john<_a.t_>demo.com.np by outsiders
then rules is created like this

sort address deliver to description
john<_a.t_>demo.com.np john my office staff

but this is not practicable, as i have to create each sorting rules for each user, assume i got 5000+ users ??

as to my knowledge and experience
merak mail server and mailerdaemon doesn't need this sort of sorting rules,,

--------------------------------------------
also one problem i faced:
if i send mail to john<_a.t_>demo.com.np;pop<_a.t_>demo.com.np;dude<_a.t_ >demo.com.np;pawan<_a.t_>demo.com.np in to and CC or BCC, each user will receive the same number of message as of users whom the mails is sent and all are same mails:

here in example: john, pop, dude, pawan receive 4 copies of identical mail messages, isn't this annoying, for this i have to "drop duplicate message". Why should i choose "drop duplicate message" as these are not duplicate since these are sent individually, they doesn't mean to go the same copy several times. if so, why other mailserver doesn't act this way ?

You can use more generic sorting rules for whole domain. Read the manual (http://www.kerio.com/manual/kms/en/ch15s04.html) and look for Special Sorting Rules section.

thanks,
i am not expert to use sorting rule, but also i tried this rule:

*<_a.t_>demo.com.np-->*<_a.t_>demo.com.np

for the first time i sent a test mail, it worked perfectly coz it seems that the mails are going to their individual address,

but whats that, it is looping, the same message is delevering and comming to inbox,, hope that rule caused to loop ??
what will be the perfect rule in my case
