Hello,

I have some difficulities to connect to Kerio from our CMS-System (Wice). I try to connect to Kerio with IMAPS, which is working with Mozilla Thunderbird easy.

It seems, that is possible to connect and to authenticate, but the connection get lost then. Here ist a part of the debug-output:

Our CRM-supplier told me, that it seems, that it is because the server does not supply the Namespace feature. But I have read, that Kerio supports that feature.

Anyone knows what to do?

Thanks, Thomas

It seems your CMS closes the connection, it's not closed by KMS. Can you perform a similar debug session from the CMS?

Thats right. But they told me, that it is closed because the Namespace-request is not answered (correctly) from the Mailserver.

Unfortunately there is no debug output similar to Kerios from the CRM

Client must not send NAMESPACE command if it is not announced in server response to CAPABILITY command. It seems to be a bug in CMS-System as it rely on optional IMAP commands and does not verify that it is supported by server. IMAP server sends 'BAD' response because command is not recognized.

I think it would be useful to get a network trace (with Wireshark - of course with no SSL) to prove that. Also ask you CMS-System vendor if they require and do not check that command.

If the command is not supported by KMS, then it becomes interesting where you
