Hello Everyone;

I am a novice at Kerio WinRoute Firewall 5.0 so please bear with me:

I am attempting to set up this new PC to be Child Safe while on the internet (eg. blocking porn, violence, etc.) a pretty strict firewall.

I have just installed the Kerio WinRoute Firewall 5.0 and attempting to set it up effectively but having a hard time (I'm unable to get to the internet at all, I have to keep Stop/Start the Firewall each time to get on the net) the admin manual was of no help.

Can someone please assist me in setting up this Firewall Application Properly so that my son (10y/o) can safely surf without mistakenly hitting a porn sites and overall data protection?

Thank you in advance for your patience in this matter.

Kerio Winroute Firewall is an Internet gateway for a group of computers on a LAN, so it's probably not what you want. Maybe you could try looking at a personal firewall program, such as "Sunbelt Kerio Personal Firewall", which is a completely different product from Winroute Firewall. Or one of those surf protection programs that work on a single computer.
