I have a client running Winroute Firewall 6.2.2. On this machine, there are Traffic Rules that specify that all traffic from LAN to LAN are allowed, and all traffic from LAN to WAN are allowed.

However, there are a very large number of entries in the logs that show items such as the following:

--------------------------------

[04/Sep/2007 12:11:00] DROP "Default traffic rule" packet from Network WAN, proto:UDP, len:229, ip/port:192.168.1.1:138 -> 192.168.1.255:138, udplen:201
[04/Sep/2007 20:23:03] DROP "Default traffic rule" packet from Network WAN, proto:139, len:50, ip:192.168.1.255 -> 255.255.255.255, plen:30

--------------------------------

My understanding is that these packets should not have been dropped, because the earlier rules should have allowed them. Can someone help me understand why this is happening and what I can do to correct it?
