Do you use cache for transparent/non-transparent proxy in KWF ?
Quote from manual

http://www.kerio.com/manual/kwf/en/ch05s06.html
Cache Options
Advanced options where cache behavior can be defined.

Continue aborted download — tick this option to enable automatic download of objects that have been aborted by the user (using the Stop button in a browser). Users often abort downloads for slow pages. If any user attempts to open the same page again, the page will be available in the cache and downloads will be much faster.

Dear all,
I think that this is a bug in winroute, if we have a rule to enable just authenticated users can go trough firewall then the login page not appear automatically and users must enter the http://router:4080 address manually.

It's legacy bug exists in all winroute versions.
I'm waiting for support team help, my trial go expired.

thanks

I've seen this behaviour. Go to Kerio WinRoute Admin Console, Advanced Options and Web Interface / SSL-VPN tab. There you'll see in the 'server name' field to what users are redirected.

Do you use just the host name (router) or a FQDM (router.domain.com)? When I use the FQDM the redirecting doesn't work on Windows 2k-XP and when I use just the host name it doesn't work on Windows 9x and Apple's. So I've set it to the server's host name and now all my Windows 2k and XP clients work fine (and I do not have any Apple's or Win9x any more).

I think bottom line is it's a name resolving issue on the clients and not so much a problem on the server...

Try this:

In User Properties, find the tab IP Address.

In that tab, asign a specific IP address for that user.

All connections made from that IP will be asumed by the user.

If you use DHCP, make a reserve for these IP address asigned to the MAC Address of the user PC.

And make any RESERVES/USERS as PC's you have.
