Hi all,

we have updated our Mailserver with the latest version and a new license for 10 Users.

But after sucessfull installation of Server and Admin, our Mailclient (Thunderbird) tell us, that the configured server isn't an IMAP4-Server.

But all services of the Mailserver are running correctly.

So what can we do ?

Thanks

Enable IMAP logging in the debug log and send results to tech. support. Make sure the IMAP account in Thunderbird is configured correctly. Thunderbird is 100% compatible with IMAP server in KMS.

Hi,

thanks for your information.

Webmail also didn't work. But there was a more detailed error message: 500 The server license has expired.

I have stopped and started the Mailserver again after applying the license number twice.

Everything works now.

Maybe it is a good idea to write this down in the documentation anywhere. I don't know if this applies to the Mailserver running on a Windows Machine. We are using RHEL 4

Greetings Uwe
