Hi,

i've tested the Kerio Mailserver Tryout with clamAV plugin and I'm a little bit confused about the handling of *.eml attachments.

I've configured clamAv with the sanesecurity anti spam filter database. First it looks like everything works fine but than i've found a problem with *.eml attachments.

If I add a file with a test signature and with txt extension (like test.txt) to a mail clamAV recognizeed it as spam/virus. If I rename the same file to something with eml extension (like test.eml) clamAV doesn't recognize it.

I've tested both variants at the filesystem and clamAV recognize both the txt file and the eml file, so I think it is a mailserver problem.

Is this a mailserver or a clamAV problem?

tested with clamAV 0.91.2 (linux and windows) and Kerio Mailserver 6.4 and 6.4.1 on Windows 2003 Server SP2
