Is it possible to use Outlook using RPC over https to connect to the KMS eg. over the Internet?

No. Kerio Outlook Connector has to be installed in Outlook for accessing email and groupware folders in Kerio MailServer.

You can use KOC securely (when set up this way) over the internet. You just get unworkable performance due to the bad KOC implementation.

No, it isn't. RPC over HTTP is Microsoft's proprietary protocol (licensed Sad ) which can be used only with Exchange. This is why Outlook needs to have connectors to be able to use other server.
