Here's the scenario:
Now, aside from the typical slow KOC, I have a constant message in Outlook's status bar, "Adding your catagories to the master list...". It doesn't go away....at all. I even did a nuke'n'pave of my machine....still getting the same result.

Core 2 Duo
2GB SODIMM
Vista x86
Outlook 2007
KMS 6.4.1
KOC 6.4.1
everything fully updated

Any ideas? Is this happening to anybody else?

I thought 2007 was now officially supported in 6.4.1? Is this not the case?

I just checked the KOC system requirements and Outlook 2007 IS on the list.

So, this must be a bug? I searched but I haven't found anything on it.

It happens in Outlook 2007 when using mailbox created in Outlook 2003. Outlook 2007 detects categories created by previous Outlook versions and tries to convert them to some new proprietary format.
We are working on solution. So far, it's only a message - no action is performed in background.

Ah ha....I have used 2003 on this account. And yes, 2007 PSTs are different from all previous....so that makes sense.

Thanks for the swift reply... Very Happy

Does creating a new Outlook profile make this go away?

No.

I have created brand new accounts and only used Outlook 2007 on them....still happens.

Kerio, please respond.

So, any mailbox that has ever been used in Outlook 2003 will have this issue in Outlook 2007. I would guess that a newly created mailbox, untouched, used in Outlook 2007 would not have this problem?
