Hello,

Within few last weeks my server is flooded with tons of spam. As I can see in Administration Console, almost all mesasages are in "Content filter" state.

Is there any chances to increase SpamASsassin speed? If so, how to do this?

Which RBLs are most reliable? If I enable RBL checking, will it increase "performance" of my system?

I've got quad core CPU (avg. utilisation is about 0.35) with 4GB of RAM, so running low of resources is not a problem here.

Regards,
Konrad

RBLs I am using (most efficient is Spamhaus, so list it first):

zen.spamhaus.org BLOCK
bl.spamcop.net BLOCK
list.dsbl.org BLOCK
dnsbl-1.uceprotect.net Increase score by 3.0
dnsbl-2.uceprotect.net Increase score by 2.0
db.wpbl.info Increase score by 3.0

I have good results with these. Try to enter Spamhaus as the first in your list. If it finds an IP blacklisted, the other black lists will not be contacted ==> more efficient

A good overview on black lists can be found on Al Iverson's DNSBL Resource
