Hello everyone,

Is there a way if someone connects to an IMAP account in Kerio (6.4.1) say via outlook or thunderbird and a second person at another computer tries to connect to the same account it would keep the second person out until the first person exits the account?

No. Multiple connections to IMAP are allowed (even from different IP addresses). In fact, every IMAP client is using several IMAP connections at same time.

Yeah that is kind of what I thought - does anyone have any way they know of to keep someone out of an email account if someone else it signed into it - For example, if we have a general email inbox that 3 people should keep an eye on and forward the messages out of there, it would be nice if one of them signed into webmail, then took care of the emails, then while they are in there if the next employee tried to go into the mailbox it wouldn't let them until the first person logs out...or if anyone has any other ideas on how to handle this situation - maybe some sort of multi-user interface/program with message locking so if all 3 people were in looking for messages, if employee 1 opened a message to look at it employee 2 and 3 wouldn't be able to open the same message that employee 1 has open.
