I am setting up Kerio mailserver in a DMZ but want to use it primarily as a secure means of accessing webmail for roaming users. The main server will be on the private network. Is this possible? I've heard about front end, back end servers but need a guide to setting up. Any help greatfully appreciated.

On your router open the ip address of your mail server with the port you using for your webmail . (80, 8080 etc) allow outside trafic only on this port , done!!

Sorry for secure usage use the HTTPS port open the 448 (default) port on the router and get the users to login to https://server.com:448 for the webmail

I'd correct that statement about secure http. It's port 443, not 448.
