first up
1) block access to teamviewer.com
2) have a look at the active hosts in the admin console and watch. Open the teamviewer client. Have a look and see what connections it makes and where to in the active hosts. Add a traffic rule to stop traffic coming from anywhere going to the destination you see popping up

Just block web port or port:80 from your clients.

or you can also block IP of team viewer gateway
IP no. 1. 190.198.81.101

Looks like this thread was old (2008) and is bumped up again.
@ Kerio can you please do some kind of auto-pruning or cleaning up on these forums ?

No, we won't be removing topics just because they are old. Even old topics have great informational value for new users.

Seems logical. Perhaps an idea then to modify the forum so that when a post is made its required to specify the version number / build of the software, we're talking about. 98% of the threads seem to be surrounding version specific issues.

This information could then be used to present the forum threads & information in a different, exiting way.

teamviewer support said: "there is no solution but block everything".
it will work even on 80 port. so if you block 80, you block web browsing Smile

Hi People,

You can block TeamViewer by blocking the following IP addresses from Traffic Policy.

87.230.74.43
87.230.74.44
178.77.120.6

Create new rule. Set as following.
name: (anything you wish)
source: any
destination: (the ip addresses that I wrote above)
service: any
action: deny

Thats all.

In the time when I post this, by blocking the above IP addresses will block TeamViewer, for the future I will write new IP addresses of the Teamviewer.

Good luck,
