Is it possible to block outgoing mails sent to certain email addresses? For example, in case I need to block messages sent to "user<_a.t_>hotmail.com".

Thanks in advance!

In the KMS admin console, you can go to:

Configuration > Content Filter > Spam Filter

Choose the "Custom Rules" tab

Add a new rule with "To" as the header field and the Hotmail address in the content field.

Spam filters could block incoming message, not outgoing messages as the topic starter is asking for.

AFIAK there's no way to block certain outgoing messages in KMS.

You are right, that is just for incoming mail TO a certain internal recipient.

The only way I can see then (not very nice) is to create the domain hotmail.com in KMS and create a user with the email address user<_a.t_>hotmail.com. On the domain properties, on the forwarding tab, tick "If recipient was not found in this domain, forward the message to another host". Put mx1.hotmail.com in the "Forward to:" field.

As I said, not very nice, but better than nothing.

Ummm, waste another Kerio license seat, no probs... And, it gives the false impression that the email was delivered when indeed it was not. Probably better if you informed your employees of your company policy and archived outgoing emails. I'm not sure what your circumstance is that you need to stop emails going that way so that may not be a plausible solution.
