I recently took over an existing Kerio environment. All of the accounts are stored in the internal database dispite having AD accounts for every email account. Is their any way to convert these accounts to AD accounts? Or would it require scrapping each users mailbox and creating a blank new one?

If the AD login matches the email address, just delete the local account, choose save files, ok. Then either use the import button or the AD extension to create a new Kerio mailbox.

Note that groups also have to be in AD. If you make use of local groups, make sure you create the same groups in AD, delete the groups in KMS Admin and import AD groups. Oh, and you can't have a group that contains some local and some AD users. Pick your choice.

One last thing: make sure to notify your users that they may get an incorrect password box. They must use their windows password, not their Kerio password!
