The partition the mail server is on is starting to fill up, is there a way to use an external drive for more space, or move the server to a different partition with no hickups?

Just stop the server and move the whole folder, or just change where the messages are stored?

I need to be able to bring it down quickly and bring it back up. If I do move the folder will my /etc/init.d commands still work?

If anyone has any info, or tips that would help me get this moved with out breaking it >_< I would appreciate it!

Thanks,
Dan

It can be done as quickly as you can copy the store... So if where talking many Gb's this will take some time.

Just look in the knowledge base, there are instructions on how to migrate a server and basically this is just a part of that.
