Hello,

When installing Kerio Winroute Firewall 6.4.1 build 3519 via a remote computer (Terminal Services) I get disconnected.

After I have disabled the WinRoute service i had a look in the error.log I found the following error:

[20/Dec/2007 14:17:29] (3001) Configuration error: Failed to load traffic rule "Remote Access" (Illegal service definition.).

Any Ideas on this, luckily I have a Remote Serial Console setup!

With Regards,
Colin.

It seems your winroute.cfg file somehow got corrupted and WinRoute is not able to parse its content. You can edit the file, search for the "Remote Access" string and look for anything suspicious. Of course, if the file was corrupted by the installer, we would be interested in it at our technical support.

Jan,

I have just uninstalled Winroute and reinstalled with the same results.

I have had a look at the winroute.cfg and found the entry for 'Remote Access', Please find entry bellow:

(I have not modified the winroute.cfg file so what you see is from the install and with the bellow paste I removed the IP Address)
