Now we got a problem on user authentication using NTLM. as your help document described,"WinRoute supports automatic user authentication by the NTLM method (authentication from Web browsers). Users once authenticated for the domain are not asked for username and password. ", but on real network, the dialog always ask client PC for username and password? please advise me what the problem is?

Note:
1. Active Directory Mapping:
-- Active Dir domain name: company.com
-- Description: Test AD mapping
- NT authentication: NT Domain Name: COMPANY

2. authentication Options:
- I check "Always require users to be authenticated..." and "Enable user authentication..."
- "Automatic logout...": 120mins

The user Accounts tab right then be filled up with users from AD ! Good.

This forum is not a way to get 'official' Kerio attention...

See this topic on how to get proper support: http://forums.kerio.com/index.php?t=msg&th=5908&star t=0

Hi,
I'm a KWF trial user.Even I have the same problem.

I've tried almost every possible combination as far as I know.

What is the actual solution?

Thanks.

Make sure that all requirements described at http://www.kerio.com/manual/kwfag/en/sect-ntlm.html are met.

Also, make sure you're using correct browser and the browser is correctly configured. NTLM can work only on intranet sites so verify if it can work with the hostname used for KWF web interface.

This means NTLM won't work when we browse internet sites?

No! It means that if you want to use NTLM in MS IE, KWF server hostname (used in web interface) must be trusted (or in intranet group). Every HTTP request is redirected to KWF if the user is not authenticated in order to authenticate the user.
