Hello,
Is the folowing possible?

user gets multiple email adressen.
example :
naam1<_a.t_>provider.com
naam2<_a.t_>provider.com
naam3<_a.t_>provider.com

Default the send bij adress is naam1<_a.t_>provider.com

Is it possible to use an option to change the send bij adress
so that you can use one of the other adresses?

I have found the signature but it is not exactly what i want.

thanks in advantage..

sorry for my poor english , i am from Holland

kind regards,

Eric

This is only possible with webmail, not with KOC. Add the additional names under the user accounts email addresses.

In webmail, you have the option of choosing the account address when you send a message. You can select a default in the options on the Mail tab 'Default From address:'.

If you use the KOC, you could specify an e-mail address on the Sender tab of the KOC account property window. That will override the default from address. You don't have an option to change accounts on the fly like webmail does, though.

Another option would be to enable the From field in Outlook. That will let you type in the From address, but it will show up like

From: user2<_a.t_>domain.com on behalf of user<_a.t_>domain.com

instead of overriding the from address completely. That's a security feature to prevent people from trying to fake the from address.

Are there plans to change KOC/KMS so Outlooks 'From' field could work as it does with MS Exchange?

on MSE5.5 when a secretary selected her boss by clicking the From button, the recipient would be able to reply ok. on KMS6 when recipient tries to reply, "Boss (E-Mail)" comes up as the email address (not just as display name)...
its ok if you type boss<_a.t_>work.com into the from field though.

Also, could there be a 'send permissions' tab in KMS 'Edit user' dialog, which allows admin to select which user can put in the 'From' field???
